I'm excited to reveal that my latest book, All About Archie: Bringing Up A Puppy is available now! It's in e-book format only at the moment, but I will be looking into print options. The e-book version doesn't have any photographs of Archie in it. I had to remove them due to formatting difficulties - I didn't want to take the risk of the e-book looking messy. Instead I decided to put together a collage of some of my favourite photos of Archie when he was a puppy, and made it available on this very blog. Have a look at the Archie Photo Collage tab. The link to the collage is included in the book.
In my last blog post I mentioned that a publisher had expressed an interest in this book. They got back to me recently and said that whilst it was interesting, it was 'not quite right' for them. Ah well.
In All About Archie I share my experience of bringing up a puppy for the first time. I found it daunting at first, which is why I decided to write a book in the hope that it will help other first-time puppy parents (or even first time dog parents).
I can't imagine life without Archie now. He is such a delight. I regularly post pictures of him on Instagram, so if you're interested follow us @helibedw. I'm new-ish to Instagram, and I'm not completely sure I get it, but it's a nice way to share photos!
I have also set up a Facebook page dedicated to the book and all things Archie - just put in a search on Facebook for All About Archie.
I have been busy marketing All About Archie ahead of its release. More about that in a later post. I'm following a strategy I found online. Fingers-crossed!
My thoughts have now turned to writing a follow-up . . .
