Useful Links

Here are some websites I have found to be useful. They're an eclectic mix, covering dogs, writing, and mental health.😊 I will keep adding to them over time.

Dogs
There are lots of puppies and dogs out there in animal rescue centres, waiting for a second (or sometimes third) chance. But if you are thinking about buying a puppy from a breeder, The Dogs Trust website has some useful advice on what to look for.

Are you thinking about getting a puppy? Have you recently got a puppy and you need some advice? Take a look at the Our Family Dog website, which has a lot of helpful information, and best of all, you can read stories written by other puppy owners (including yours truly 😊).

Mental Health
When I was feeling overwhelmed and anxious about my new puppy, I contacted Anxiety UK's infoline. They helped to reassure me. Whatever you're feeling anxious about, why not check out the Anxiety UK website? Click here to go to the infoline service.

Writing
Want to self-publish? I publish all my work through Kindle Direct Publishing. I have learnt a lot, and now the process of self-publishing is a lot quicker. Amazon provides a lot of guides to help you on your self-publishing journey. Start here.

Looking for an editor? I can highly recommend Anne Hamilton of WriteRight Editing. Anne has edited the Archie books for me, as well as one of my novelettes.

Need a universal link for your book? I always use Booklinker.

Need to make a banner for your Twitter or Facebook page? I use Bannersnack
