Since my last post, I finished writing my book on bringing up a puppy. I then sent it to the wonderful Anne Hamilton, she of http://www.writerightediting.co.uk/, who made the whole process of editing fun. I truly enjoyed the experience. All the suggestions Anne made were spot on, and I believe my book to be more professional as a result. I intend to go back to Anne with future works, because she is great to work with, not to mention extremely encouraging. If you're looking for an editor, I can highly recommend Anne. :)
After making changes in line with Anne's suggestions, I submitted the book to a publisher, so fingers-crossed I get a positive response. Ultimately, if I do not get a 'yes' from a publisher in the near future, I will self-publish All About Archie: Bringing Up A Puppy. I want to get the book out there sooner rather than later. Getting a puppy for the first time is extremely hard work, far harder than I was expecting, and so if this book helps just one person, then I've done some good. There will be lots of lovely photos of Archie in the book - bonus! I'll keep you posted on the progress of this book. In the meantime, keep writing. x
