I sent my latest novelette, Here I Am, to a beta-reader and got some great feedback, and so I've been busy tweaking the story for the last few weeks. It's booked in now for proofreading, and I should therefore be in a position to self-publish it late November / early December.
I've got a few ideas for the cover - I think for the first time I might use a picture of a person on it - it seems fitting for this particular story. Lucy's story was hard to write; she is a very anxious person. I have had my own battles with anxiety in the past - I still do from time to time - and whilst Lucy's story is not my story, I sympathise with her. I hope others will too. I'll write more on this topic at a later date.
