I have been pondering a great deal on what to call my collection of novelettes. And not only have I struggled with the title, but also with what image to use on the front cover. Well, after a lot of searching and exchanging ideas with family and friends, I think I now have the answers.
Because each of my novelettes covers an issue, and they are quite short, I think of them as a 'snapshot' of a person's life, hence the reason I think I'm going to call the collection 'Snapshots'. Other titles in the frame were 'Snapshots of Life' and 'Life Actually'.
The title gave me the idea to look for images of polaroid pictures, and I think I have found the perfect one, so now I just have to design the cover, or rather, my hubby does under my direction.
That is the main task now, designing the cover, since text-wise I only had to get the new stories which will feature in the collection proof-read. That's been done, which just leaves the formatting for Kindle to do.
So I think I can safely say that 'Snapshots' will be out as an e-book sometime this spring, to be followed later in the year by a print version. Excited? You bet I am.
