I cannot believe it's the end of January. Where has the time gone? Christmas seems but a distant memory.
This month I have been working on various projects. I am still in the process of typing up my non-fiction book on bringing up a puppy.
I have written a short story, which is a follow up to my novelette, Paris Actually, which I intend to enter into a competition. It needs re-working, but I've got time as the closing date isn't until April.
I have also started work on putting my novelettes together in one collection. A new story - The B Word - will feature in it, along with the five novelettes I currently have out. I have just received The B Word back from my beta reader. Great comments from her as usual. I am re-working parts of it, and I will then need to send it to my proofreader.
As for the collection itself, I am pondering the issue of the title. What title would be fitting for the six novelettes which will be in it? And for that matter, what should be on the cover?
Lastly, I have slowly started typing up another novelette. It won't appear in the collection. It will either be released later in the year as a stand-alone, or it will appear in a second collection of stories. But I mustn't get ahead of myself. It's lovely to have all these plans though. :)
Keep writing.
