Paris Actually - coming soon (honestly)

I first planned to publish my third novelette, Paris Actually, at the beginning of February. My new puppy put paid to that idea; I got Archie at the end of January and all my plans went out the window!

Once some sort of order was restored, I next planned to publish Paris Actually at the end of February, and now it's the 10th March and I still haven't published my new story. I can't blame Archie this time. I thought Paris Actually was ready, but I got some late feedback from a beta reader. It wasn't bad feedback, in fact she complimented the descriptions of Paris, but she said the heroine, Anna, was immature. Nothing wrong with that. Anna is immature, having grandiose ideas of romance, but the comment made me take another look. I questioned whether I'd explained Anna's actions enough. As a result, I have made some changes and the story is all the better for it.

Unfortunately I'd already sent the old version of the story to my proofreader, and I'd begun formatting it ready for uploading to Kindle Direct Publishing, which has taught me a lesson. Mind you, I think many writers would change their older work if they were to re-visit it. It begs the question - is the story ever finished?

Anyway, I am nearly there. I need to do the re-formatting again, and finalise the cover. Paris Actually will be published this month, but I won't name a date here. Watch this space!
