Just a quick message to say the release of my new novelette, Skin Deep, has been greatly delayed by my having very poor broadband for the past few weeks. Fingers-crossed the problem is fixed and I can now upload the manuscript to Amazon Kindle Direct Publishing. I'll have to check that it looks okay across all the different devices, so it will take a little time, but I'm hoping Skin Deep will be released by the beginning of next week.
I've spent the last few weeks re-reading the story and I couldn't help doing some more editing (when is a story ever finished?). I also designed the cover with my hubby. I decided to use a different picture to the one I posted last month. The flower didn't work and after much thought I went with a picture of a dandelion seed head. I chose this because it relates to a line in the story: "Thoughts flit in and out of my mind like
floating dandelion seed-heads."
