Love You and Leave You is written in a diary format. It tells the story of Jess's search for her birth mother, as well as showing her developing romance with Rob. I deliberately used dates personal to me (thank goodness they all worked with the time frame). By doing so I was able to include my family in the story albeit in a small way, for all of their birthdays have been incorporated. I also included the date of my wedding anniversary.
In one week I have sold 13 copies of Love You and Leave You, and I have received two 5 star reviews. I'm pleased - it's a positive start - but I know I need to market my work more widely now. I'm currently researching other ways to promote e-books.
