I'm delighted to announce that my debut novelette, Out of my Debt, is now available on Amazon.
When I hit 'save and publish' on Amazon Kindle Direct Publishing, I felt excited, nervous, and relieved all at the same time. I thought I'd have to wait at least 12 hours to see my work on Amazon, but it was 'live' within an hour! The moment had to be toasted of course, so out came the Prosecco, and I couldn't help a "woohoo" or two!
It was (and still is) amazing to see my novelette listed. It still doesn't feel real.
I had to buy a copy of course, just to check it looked okay. You have to format your manuscript just so in order for it to look respectable on a Kindle, tablet or phone. And it did indeed look like other books I've read on my own Kindle, although I did spot one pesky speech mark which was the wrong way round. Doh! I have now corrected it. So now all I need to do is to promote Out of my Debt, and await reviews. Fingers-crossed people like it.
